iGame acquires Asteriapoker.com

Online gaming operator iGame today announced its acquisition of Asteriapoker.com. Following the acquisition, Asteriapoker.com customer database was merged with iGame’s leading brand, 24hPoker earlier this month. The acquired players are now able to benefit from access to 24hpoker.com and its online gaming portfolio, which includes poker, casino and sports betting.

Last Tuesday, on 12th January, Haiti was hit by a devastating earth quake, which caused further destructions and despair in the country which had barely recovered from the hurricanes of 2008. 2-3 million people are living in the area of the earth quake, and the number of victims is at the moment estimated to reach over 100,000. 

24hPoker wants to help the victims of the earth quake by making a donation to the Red Cross. Therefore, we invite all our players to a Good Will Tournament, organized this Wednesday 20th January at 19:00 CET. 

The guaranteed prize pool of the tournament is €250, and buy-in €1. All the tournament buy-ins, rebuys and add-ons are added to the final prize pool. The final prize pool of the tournament will be distributed amongst our players. You will find the “Good Will Tournament” in the poker client under “Tournaments” and “Special”.

24hPoker will be donating to the Red Cross a sum equivalent to the final prize pool of the tournament. This means, that we will match any sum which all our players will contribute to the prize pool.
